Where are Agni Studio lamps made?
Every lamp is designed and 3D printed in our studio in Melbourne, Victoria, then wired, tested and packed by hand before it ships.
How long does it take to receive my lamp?
Lamps are printed to order and usually ship within 5 to 10 business days. Tracked delivery then takes 2 to 5 business days to most Australian addresses.
Do you ship outside Australia?
Not yet. We currently ship to addresses within Australia only. Email hello@agnistudio.au if you're overseas and we'll let you know when that changes.
How much is shipping?
Tracked shipping is a flat $15 anywhere in Australia, and free on orders over $250.
What is PLA, and is it safe for a lamp?
PLA is a thermoplastic made from plant starch. Our lamps use low-heat LED light sources, which stay well below the temperature at which PLA softens. Use only the LED globe supplied or one of the same wattage.
Which material gives the brightest light?
Translucent PETG lets the most light through and glows brightest. Matte PLA gives a softer, more even glow, silk PLA adds a sheen, and wood-fill PLA is nearly opaque, so light falls out of the openings instead.
Can I use my own globe in a pendant?
Yes. Pendant shades fit a standard E27 fitting. Use an LED globe of 9 W or less. Pendants should be installed by a licensed electrician.
How do I charge a cordless lamp?
Cordless lamps charge over USB-C. A full charge typically lasts several evenings at a medium setting, depending on brightness.
Can I order a custom colour or size?
Often, yes. Because everything is printed to order, we can usually adjust colour or scale for a home, café or office fit-out. Email hello@agnistudio.au with what you have in mind.
How do I clean my lamp?
Switch it off and let it cool, then dust it with a soft dry brush or a microfibre cloth. Avoid solvents and hot water, which can mark the surface.
